Gettysburg Session Format

• The session is about the music and the fellowship
• Rhythm and harmony should accompany the melody rather than dominate or overtake it.
• Every musician should be able to hear the melody player(s)
• Volume does not equal quality
• Announce the name of any tune or song you call
• Take turns calling
• Pipers are welcome and encouraged to play an occasional tune on the pipes
• Only one tune should be played at a time.  If someone else has begun a tune, wait until they are finished to start another tune
